Uniform-based Classification
Identifies and classifies people by the colour and type of their uniform or clothing from IP cameras, matching each person to a role — staff, contractor, or visitor. It enforces role-based zone access, flags anyone whose uniform doesn't belong in a restricted area, and monitors compliance with uniform and dress-code policies. Every classification is logged with image evidence, and real-time alerts fire when an unauthorised uniform type appears in a zone. Works across multiple camera zones at once and runs on the edge.

Detailed technical information about Uniform-based Classification
Prerequisites & Limitations
What Uniform-based Classification needs to run reliably, and the operating limits to plan for.
Prerequisites
- Camera: 2MP+ IP/RTSP at the zones or access points where uniform-based access applies
- Colour-accurate illumination — white-light is preferred for reliable uniform/colour classification (IR produces monochrome imagery)
- Stable bandwidth between camera and edge/server — roughly 4–8 Mbps per 2MP H.264/H.265 stream
- Mounting so each worker's upper body and uniform are clearly visible
- Stable power and network at the deployment point
Operating Limits
Indicative figures — actual limits depend on hardware, scene, and configuration.
Deployment Models
Uniform-based Classification is available in 2 deployment models. Choose the option that fits your infrastructure.
